Indore: Haryana skipper Sunny Singh scored a hurricane 312 in 333 balls as the visitors piled up 546 runs on the second day of the Ranji Trophy plate division Group B match against Madhya Pradesh at the Emerald Heights International School ground here.
Sunny, who resumed his innings at 146, never allowed the MP bowlers to settle and blasted them to all parts of the ground at regular intervals.
He went on to add another 166 runs today to end up with his career`s highest score. His knock was studded with 44 boundaries and seven huge sixes.
Sunny was the last man out when he went for yet another big hit and was stumped by wicketkeeper Naman Ojha off the bowling of Abbas Ali.
Ali (2-31), Sanjay Pandey (2-122), T Sudhindra (2-114) and Anand Rajan (3-85) were the main wicket takers for hosts.
In reply, the hosts scored 116 runs losing the wicket of Ojha for 31.
Skipper Hrishesh Kanitkar (26) and deputy Jalaj Saxena (43) were at the crease when stumps were drawn for the day.
