Yuvraj a match winner with his class

India have a chance to take the lead in the ongoing ODI series against Sri Lanka if the team plays to its strength. Gambhir’s presence is crucial to the team composition and he would be pivotal in giving India a good start in the bating department. S Badrinath is another player who must be kept in the playing eleven for his brilliant match temperament, a feat that he proved in the last match.

India definitely requires another spinner if they have to exploit the dustbowl of the Premadasa pitch. One other significant aspect is that Yuvraj Singh, a born match winner must be promoted up the order. If he plays at number three, it will do wonders for his confidence as he has not particularly clicked against Ajantha Mendis.

If he faces Mendis after he has spent some time at the crease, he will give a new dimension to his batting against the wily spinner.

I hope that MS Dhoni does not change his natural game. When teamed up with Yuvraj, the duo’s class is in a league of its own and India would definitely have a better shot at the Lankans after a dismal Test series.
