Respect for the game sets Dhoni apart
Earning the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award is truly a great achievement for MS Dhoni as he truly deserves the cheers. He is indeed a right choice after Sachin Tendulkar for the honour as he has consistently churned out good results. Such a constant display of good results can certainly not be a fluke and Dhoni has seeped into the hearts of many with his game. Fearless yet sharp witted, his salient trait remains the fact that he trusts himself as much as he trusts his team, it is the mark of a great captain.

Yuvraj a match winner with his class

Gambhir’s presence is crucial to the team composition and he would be pivotal in giving India a good start in the bating department. S Badrinath is another player who must be kept in the playing eleven for his brilliant match temperament, a feat that he proved in the last match.

Alien support staff failed Team India
Maninder Singh Indian cricket team’s fitness has been doubtful since the time they started their tour to South Africa just before the World Cup. The training regime in the form of military drills, rock climbing and Tai Chi sessions did not raise the fitness level of the Indian squad.

It’s New Zealand’s turn!
Maninder Singh
There is hardly any other law than the ‘law of averages’ that has such an impact on the game of cricket. Geniuses get affected by the law and sometimes even lesser mortals get benefited by it. Now perhaps it’s the turn of a country, which is understated, under-rated to see the better side of this very important law of cricket.
